Dr Mairéad Hayes

Mairéad is our specialist orthodontist and is a highly qualified consultant with experience in complex treatment cases using a variety of orthodontic systems. She has a Masters in Orthodontics and has also received training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontology, oral medicine and paediatric dentistry. Mairéad has worked in community dental service where she specialises in treating anxious children and adult patients. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons England and the British Orthodontic Society, and is a former secretary of the postgraduate Orthodontic training group. She has been involved in the teaching and training of orthodontic specialists in London teaching hospitals and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
