The Transformative Power of a Smile

The power of the smile was much in evidence at the culmination of the Progress 1000 campaign event celebrating London’s Most Influential People at Tate Modern.   

These were harnessed in an Invisalign installation at the event, which sought to capture as many as 1,000 smiles in a GIF booth.  Guests were encouraged to donate a series of smiles and the images were immediately turned into animations and displayed on a giant screen.  For each selfie shared using #4millionsmiles, the company pledged a $1 dollar charitable contribution to Operation Smile - part of a quest to raise $1million by 2018 and transform the lives of people with clef lip and palate deformities worldwide.


The event was attended by Invisalign ambassadors Saira Khan and Andy Friedlander, as well as by two up-and-coming entrepreneurs – Onome Otite (below receiving Invisalign treatment) and Dr Rob McInerney who are part of Invisalign`s mentoring programme.
