What is BodyTite?

What is radio frequency liposuction? How does it differ from traditional liposuction?
Radio frequency liposuction is an advanced technique that selectively removed excess fat cells without any pain. As a safe alternative to traditional liposuction, BodyTite can effectively remove unwanted fat cells and at the same time provide skin tightening results, with less downtime and minimal side effects.
How does BodyTite liposuction work?
During the procedure, a small 3mm incision is made into the target area. The plastic surgeon then keys in the energy to be delivered, the maximum skin temperature and high and low limits of impedance. This device is equipped to monitor the flow of energy and can shut down in case of overheating of the electrodes. The heating mechanism allows the surgeon to direct the thermal energy exactly to the target region.
Are there any associated risks attached to BodyTite liposuction?
BodyTite is performed under local anaesthesia, meaning the patient is awake during the procedure. Compared to the conventional, radio frequency liposuction carries fewer risks. On rare occasions, infection, minor swelling and bruising may occur.
How long does BodyTite treatment take?
One treatment per body area is usually the recommended amount for each patient. These take between 30-45 minutes but this can vary depending on the complexity and target area.
