Cellulaze

Cellulaze is a procedure used to treat unwanted cellulite. The treatment is carried out using a device called the Cellulaze Laser Workstation. While the device is classed as invasive, this is only minimally. In order to reduce the amount of cellulite on the neck, arms, legs, or abdomen area, the laser restores the normal structure of the skin as well as the connective tissue underneath.

To begin the procedure a cannula is inserted under the patient’s skin. The tube is very small, comparable in size to the tip of a pen. Once the cannula is in place, the unique laser fibre inside sends energy directly under the surface of the skin. This works to increase the thickness of the skin, as well as the overall quality. In addition to this, the energy releases bands of fibre that pull down the skin – this minimises the unsightly orange peel appearance that characterises cellulite. In the final step of the treatment, the cellulite laser is used on the skin to get rid of the deposits of fat.

Bruising, swelling, and general discomfort are common side-effects after undergoing Cellulaze treatment. However, in most cases patients are able to carry out their day-to-day tasks within a matter of days without pain, and are back to full health within two weeks of undergoing the treatment. The procedure is always carried out by a qualified physician and has been clinically proven to give skin a smoother and healthier look by increasing its thickness.
