Ritu qualified as a dentist in 1992 from Guys Hospital, London. She worked in general practice and in the hospital service for several years before training in Orthodontics for 3 years at Kings College Hospital, London and The Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. She obtained a postgraduate degree in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2002. She is registered as a Specialist with the General Dental Council (Registration No. 68593) an British Orthodontic Society and the British Lingual Society.
Her philosophy to have a personal, friendly & professional approach to the care of her patients. She is interested in modern, progressive orthodontic techniques which give the best treatment outcomes in the most discrete way possible.
She regularly attends professional development courses to update her skills & knowledge. She enjoys treating adults and children alike and tries to carry out a variety of treatments in her clinical practice to keep her work challenging and exciting.
She has worked in the hospital service for virtually all her professional life and is continuing to do so as part of the orthodontic team at St. Richards Hospital. She divides her professional time between her specialist practice and the hospital service. She has been involved in teaching trainee orthodontists, dentists and nurses.
