Dr Rabbab Hassan (Ruby)

Hi and thank you for taking the time to find out more about our team here at Dental Works. My friends and patients know me as Ruby. I love what I do mostly because I feel I am improving the quality of life of my patients – at the same time I also get to meet all different types of people on a daily basis.

Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience within general dentistry. I have a particular keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and really enjoy creating beautiful smiles. Since graduating with a degree in Dentistry and also Nutrition from Kings College London, I make sure I keep up to date with new techniques and ideas in my field. Most recently I have finished a one year course in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry with Tipton Training, where I had a great opportunity to learn new skills from renowned Specialist Dentists.

Of course dental treatment may be worrying for some people, so alongside my brilliant and caring nurse, we always make the visit to our surgery as relaxed and settling as possible. We ensure that any treatment carried out is a pain-free and comfortable experience for our patients.

Prevention is always better than cure and so I encourage patients to come regularly for a check-up. There is no pressure to do treatment and I always rather the treatment plan is guided by the patient’s thoughts and preferences.

I live in London at the moment and am a proud mother of an adventurous four year old boy. A full-time parent and Dentist, I somehow still manage to have a little spare time. I like to get involved with community work particularly with children’s activities. Charity work is also close to my heart and I am a committed member of a long-standing Orphan Project that helps children that are in need.
