Dr Charlotte Woodward MBChB MRCGP

Dr Charlotte Woodward is a leading medical aesthetic doctor with over 25 years’ experience across both general practice and aesthetics. Having trained and practiced in the aesthetic industry since its infancy, Dr Charlotte was an early adopter of cosmetic injections and thread lifts, and now brings her experience and flair to River Aesthetics, with the latest treatments and technologies such as Desirial and the River Lift.

It was through a chance meeting in 2012 with fellow GP and aesthetics enthusiast Dr Victoria Manning that River Aesthetics was born. Since then, Dr Charlotte and Dr Victoria have built a strong partnership and focus on bringing aesthetic innovation to the UK, specialising in thread lifting and feminine rejuvenation. Central to their ethos is the importance of a personalised approach with patients – using their background as GPs to build a great rapport and ‘bedside’ manner which considers the whole picture of health and well-being within the patients’ aesthetic treatment pathway.

As a specialist in medical threading techniques, Dr Charlotte pioneered the UK’s first non-surgical breast lift using threads and is a national trainer for PDO threads and Desirial for feminine rejuvenation. River Aesthetics was recognised with the prestigious Star award by Silhouette Soft threads to recognise their clinical skills and contributions to this field. Dr Charlotte and Dr Victoria are also leading the way in clinical training, by launching the River Aesthetics Training Academy based at Harley Street. In 2014, Dr Charlotte was recognised by the Venus Awards as a Finalist for Professional Businesswoman of the Year.

When she’s not running clinics at River Aesthetics in the New Forest and Harley Street, she can be found walking in the New Forest with her family and German Short haired pointer, Ben.
