Shaila Kotecha

Shaila graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009 and joined the Hallcross team in 2011. She is committed to providing a very high standard of care for her patients and her friendly and caring approach puts nervous patients at ease. She is always keen to attend courses and conferences to improve her skills and knowledge, using the latest techniques to deliver the very best care to patients.

Shaila enjoys helping patients achieve confidence in their smiles and is interested in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. She has completed a one year Advanced Restorative Dentistry Course at the Tipton Training Academy and in 2011, Shaila also obtained her diploma from the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Shaila’s main passion is root canal treatment, and in 2014 she completed a three year training program at the University of Chester. She obtained a Degree of Master of Science (MSc) in Endodontology which she passed with Merit. She enjoys the challenges of complex root canal treatments and uses the latest advances in technology and equipment. Shaila also accepts referrals for root canal treatments and is an active member of the British Society of Endodontics.

Shaila is a firm believer of prevention of dental disease and promotes dental health in local schools in Oadby and Evington.
