Dr Vinayahan

Dr Vinayahan is one of our long-standing dentists at our Preston practice. He was been practicing dentistry for 22 years and still loves it every day! He is truly passionate about his profession, and he has a special interest in Oral Surgery.

He is currently an Oral Surgeon treating complicated cases referred to him by local practices. He also works as a specialist registrar at the Royal Preston Hospital.

If for some reason he didn’t progress in dentistry, Dr. Vinayahan would have wanted to become a Medical Doctor. He would have still wanted to help people with their medical problems.

Fortunately, Dr. Vinayahan became qualified in Sri Lanka in 1997, and he’s never looked back since. He is particularly interested in the number of diseases that can be diagnosed from the oral cavity and treat them. This is one of the numerous reasons Dr. Vinayahan chose to become a dentist.

Other than his lifelong passion for dentistry, he does have other hobbies he enjoys doing outside of hospitals and practices. He enjoys keeping active with badminton, and he enjoys reading and gardening in his spare time.

If he’s not putting in your stitches, he will certainly have you in stitches with his intensive humour!
