Qualifying from the University of Gothenburg (Odontologen) in 1995, Dana's Career started in general practice in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 1997 due to family commitment, Dana moved to England and started working initially as an associate dental practitioner and later as a practice owner in Ashford, Kent.
Moving to Canterbury in 2007, while running her busy dental practice, she successfully completed two certificates in Endodontology and Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry from UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
Dana has an active interest in upcoming new technology and materials, her passion for cosmetic dentistry has led her to undertake continuous professional courses in Orthodontics, Periodontology and Laser dentistry in the UK and abroad. In January 2012, she attended a course in the exiting Inman Aligner & Clear Aligner, which facilitates minimal invasive cosmetic correction for crowded front teeth. She is a certified dentist to provide this treatment at Burgate Dental Practice.
Her most recent achievement is her awarded Masters degree in Endodontics in January 2014 from Warwick University. This will enable her to take on referral from other dentists and the patients to carry out complicated root canal treatments.
