I qualified from Turner Dental School in Manchester in 1996. After completing VT, I worked within general dental practice for 3 years. I followed this by working for two years as a Senior House officer in Maxillofacial Surgery and managed to obtain a Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow.
I then went on to complete with Distinction a Masters in Clinical Periodontology and Implantology at the Eastman Dental Institute (University College London). Following the completion of the Membership in Restorative Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, I entered the General Dental Councils (UK) Specialist list in Periodontology. I am also proud to be one a select few in the country who have achieved accreditation to the European Federation of Periodontology.
I was appointed lecturer in Restorative Dentistry in 2005 at Bristol University Dental Hospital, where I was responsible in the training of undergraduates as well as Postgraduate education. I moved back to London in 2007, and now divides my time between research and teaching at UCL, and private practice
