Laura Cross

Laura spent two years as a dental nurse before training in hygiene therapy at Liverpool University. Since qualifying in 2014, she has gained dental hygiene experience, both at our practice and while working at other practices in the area.
A very positive and encouraging hygienist, Laura helps her patients to develop effective home care routines. She reassures patients who may be a little nervous about receiving treatment and treats them with a delightfully gentle touch, using the most advanced equipment.
Laura is very interested in the link between poor oral health and serious conditions, such as heart disease and strokes, which makes her even more determined to prevent gum disease and informs her holistic approach to hygiene care.
When not caring for her patients’ gum health, and offering useful oral hygiene advice, Laura manages to fit a daily run into her busy schedule. She also loves travelling, but when at home, she unwinds by walking her dog.
