PRGF-ENDORET and the Vampire Facelift

What is PRGF-Endoret?

PRGF-ENDORET technology extracts healing proteins from a patient’s own blood so that they can then be applied to grafts, venous ulcers, skin lesions, ageing skin or dental implant wounds to promote healing and regeneration.

A small sample of blood is taken and then centrifuged and treated to activate the platelets and produce healing proteins, resulting in a fluid called PRGF (‘plasma rich in growth factor’). This can then be applied to a wound, graft or lesion. It’s also used as a cosmetic injectable, ‘Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatment’ for the neck, hands and cleavage, and as the ingredient in the Plasma Regeneration Facelift, nicknamed the ‘Vampire Facelift’.

What’s involved in a PRGF ‘Vampire Facelift’?

PRGF Facelift treatments take between one and two hours. First, the area to be treated is cleaned and an anaesthetic cream or solution is applied. Then specially prepared plasma is injected using very fine needles. The effects begin to be noticeable after around 24 hours, and 3 treatments are recommended for best results.

What results and risks are there with a PRGF ‘Vampire Facelift’?

Best results with a Plasma Regeneration Facelift are achieved by having 3 treatments a few weeks apart. You should see an improvement in skin brightness, hydration and elasticity, and reduced wrinkles and lines. After completing 3 treatments, you can expect the results to last between 6 and 12 months.

The Vampire facelift has minimal risks because it uses blood products from your own body, so there should be no risk of allergy. However, as with any injectable treatment there is a small risk of bleeding and infection.

How long will it take me to recover from a PRGF Facelift?

There may be some slight bruising and tenderness, but this should be very short-lived and you can immediately resume your normal activities.

How much will a PRGF Vampire Facelift cost?

The fee for one off PRP sessions is between £150 and £695 depending on the area treated, with the hands and décolletage (cleavage) tending to be cheaper to treat than the face. The price for a course of three PRGF Facelift treatments is around £1500- £1800.

What is the cost of having dental treatment?

Prices for using PRGF-Endoret to promote healing in dental implant procedures are around £300- £500.
