Vaser Lipo Selection

Vaser Lipo treatment is a form of body reshaping carried out by ultrasound. It removes only the unwanted fat and is precisely targeted so fat cells in common problem areas such as the stomach, face and neck, arms and legs can be gently dissolved.

Vaser Lipo is different to some popular forms of liposuction because it does not require the patient to have a general anaesthetic. It is also pain free because it is less invasive than traditional methods of liposuction, allowing for a faster recovery period.

Vaser Lipo Selection works by employing ultrasound technology and a special saline solution in tandem. The saline acts as a numbing agent when injected into the area to be reshaped and helps to prevent bruising by shrinking blood vessels. Once numbed, a probe is used to break up fatty tissue using ultrasound energy – this is a safe means of dissolving unwanted fat without damaging the healthy tissue nearby.

Following the procedure, some discomfort may be experienced for up to seven days and a specific type of garment worn, but downtime is minimal and day-to-day tasks can be resumed right away.

It is usual to see results straight away though it could take up to six month of treatments to achieve the desired result.
