Pearl and Pixel Laser
  • I have scars from acne
  • I have sun damaged skin
  • My skin is wrinkled

Pearl and Pixel Laser treatments work by gently removing the skin’s top layer, encouraging new skin to grow. ‘Pearl’ treatments are more extensive than ‘Pixel’ treatments and as such, penetrate the skin deeper in order to produce results.

Cutera offer a Pearl and Pixel treatment, designed to resurface the skin. It can help to improve the appearance of the skin, evening out skin tone, reducing signs of wrinkles and ageing and helping to ease the appearance of sun damaged skin. It works by gently removing the skin’s top layer, encouraging new skin to grow. ‘Pearl’ treatments are more extensive than ‘Pixel’ treatments and as such, penetrate the skin deeper in order to produce results.

In a Pixel treatment, a beam of light is targeted towards the problem area of the skin. This laser of light removes the top layers of the epidermis, triggering a natural healing process to occur, encouraging the growth of healthy skin in its place. This treatment is suitable for most types of skin and the results are permanent once the course of treatment has taken place.

A Pearl procedure is commonly used to treat more extensive skin problems such as wrinkles and sun damage. It has a much faster recovery period than other laser procedures on the market.

Pixel and Pearl treatments are popular ways to rejuvenate and renew the skin. They can be used on smaller, targeted areas or they can be used to revitalise all of the skin on the face. Peal and Pixel procedures visibly improve the appearance and texture of the skin, reducing lines and wrinkles.

A full recovery can take around 5 – 8 days. This is a small amount of time compared to other similar treatments and it is possible to resume daily activities such as work immediately after the procedure is over.

A Pearl and Pixel laser treatment is priced at around £400 - £500 per session.
