Brow Lift
  • I have drooping eyebrows
  • I have forehead lines

A brow lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure which smooths out frown lines on the forehead, lifts drooping or hooded eyebrows, opens up the eyes and smooths loose facial skin for a more youthful appearance.

A brow lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure which smooths out frown lines on the forehead, lifts drooping or hooded eyebrows, opens up the eyes and smooths loose facial skin for a more youthful appearance.

Brow lifts are often done in conjunction with a face-lift or blepharoplasty to create a more lasting and dramatic effect. However, a brow lift can be a very effective stand-alone treatment, with advanced techniques such as the endoscopic brow lift offering a quick and painless procedure with minimal recovery time.
If the upper part of the face is sagging and has noticeable creases, a brow lift may be a suitable procedure. However, for saggy skin or jowls around the jaw and loose skin in the neck area, a face-lift may be more suitable.

The two main options for brow lift surgery are the original open technique and an endoscopic brow lift; the choice depending on the structure of the face, skin condition, and hairline. With both techniques, muscles and underlying tissues of the forehead are removed or slackened, the eyebrows may also be raised and excess skin removed.
Patients may return home after a few hours, or need an overnight stay in hospital. It is usually possible to return to work after 7-10 days — or even sooner after an endoscopic procedure.
There will be some pain and discomfort for several days following surgery, the face will be swollen for around 48 hours, and there may be bruising for up to two weeks.

Brow lift surgery is a simple procedure carried out to lift the area directly above the eye, opening up the eye area and making the face look younger.

The improvements made with brow lift surgery will last for many years to come. However, nothing can stop the normal aging process, and eventually your forehead tissues will begin to settle with time and gravity. You can help keep your results looking their best by living a healthy lifestyle. Wear sunscreen daily, eat a diet rich in whole foods and vitamins, and don’t smoke. This will help keep your body healthy and skin looking its best

A brow lift procedure can cost from £3,000 — £4,000.
