MicroLipo

A form of liposuction, MicroLipo is a treatment which is only minimally invasive. The aim of MicroLipo is to enhance the contours of your body, improving your definition and physique.

To make the targeted fatty areas swollen and firm, the professional carrying out the procedure will inject the patient with a diluted form of a standard local anaesthetic. The swelling caused by the anaesthetic helps in separating the fat cells from the surrounding tissue. Using microcannulas each with a total diameter of less than three millimetres, the bothersome fat is then removed.

The small cannulas are what makes MicroLipo different to traditional liposuction. In traditional liposuction treatment, the cannulas used are larger, and they remove more fat at a faster rate. Doing it this way increases the patient’s risk of irregularities in the skin. For smoother and more uniform results, microcannulas are the answer.

Initial results can be seen immediately after undergoing the treatment, and as a patient, you’ll be able to note a definite change in your body’s shape. The real results of the procedure however, will make themselves known around 3-4 weeks after the treatment.
