Qualified from University College Hospital Dental Hospital in 1985, and spent seven years working as an associate before buying the practice in Petworth in 1992.

He started studying orthodontics in 1991 and has developed this side of his practice since then. He believes this treatment should be carried out without extractions wherever possible, so as to allow the correct shape and size of the jaw to be maintained and to improve the final facial profile. He also works closely with osteopaths and chiropractors in this regard.

In 1997 he gained his Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons in London, being one of the first in the country to attain this qualification.

In 2006, he moved the practice from Market Square to its’ current modern premises located on the corner of Middle Street.

He has a special interest in orthodontics and restorative dentistry, and continues to broaden and update his knowledge through his commitment to postgraduate education.

He is married to Practice Manager Jayne Donovan. They have two children and he enjoys playing and watching rugby, golf, cycling and skiing.
