Paula qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1971, whilst serving with Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps. After leaving the Army in 1975 she went to work as a dental hygienist in Saudi Arabia, working for an American company who had set up a hospital in Jeddah to treat the Saudi Airforce personnel and their families. Whilst there, Paula had the opportunity of observing procedures and working in the operating theatre alongside the oral surgeon.
Paula now works part time at Elstead. With forty years of experience behind her, patients always remark how gentle and efficient Paula’s hygiene techniques are. Outside work Paula plays golf regularly and loves travelling.
