Andrew Thomas

Originally from Cardiff, Andrew qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2001 with Distinction and Honours, after winning the Trevor Tranter, Alan & Cyril Body and Alumni prizes during his time there. He had previously obtained a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Wales in Cardiff.
Andrew has worked at 50 The Parade in Cardiff city centre since 2002.
Andrew's special interest is Invisalign (www.pittdental.co.uk/services/invisalign-orthodontics) and he is the exclusive member of the MiSmile Network (one of the UK's biggest group of Invisalign providers) for Cardiff and the surrounding areas. He has invested a lot of time and energy into using and understanding this state-of-the-art orthodontic system to ensure that it can deliver what it is capable of for every patient. Andrew is in no doubt that Invisalign is by far the best alternative to fixed metal braces for treating orthodontic problems as it is comfortable, removable, and discreet and it is customised to each patient individually, but most importantly it is safe and very effective.
Andrew aims to work closely with every patient undergoing Invisalign to ensure they have the best chance of achieving the smile they want and deserve.

Andrew also works closely with Dr David Pitt, Mr Jeremy Hayes, our Hygienist Team and our various technicians to provide integrated quality dental care for our patients. He provides a variety of dental treatments from routine dental care and family dental care to the more advanced treatments such as root canal treatment, complex restorative treatment and cosmetic treatments, including Enlighten tooth whitening.
Andrew is at the practice Monday to Friday and also offers early morning and some late evening appointments to suit our patients who work full-time.
