Simon Buxton

Originally from Cheshire, Dr Simon Buxton qualified at Birmingham University in 2004.

After completing his vocational training year at Chipping Norton Dental Practice he stayed on as an associate and became a vocational trainer himself to mentor the new dentists. His focus is to continue to develop skills in restorative, aesthetic and adhesive dentistry. He especially enjoys endodontic treatment. Simon has keenly attended courses and lectures in these fields and recently completed a dental implant course in Bath and a six-month hands-on Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry course with Dr Mizrahi, a well respected Harley Street specialist.

In addition, Simon has completed the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and continues to strive to provide high standards of dentistry.

Simon places a high emphasis on educating his patients about their dental problems, involving them as much as possible in the decision making process in order to help them make informed choices regarding their treatment.

Aside from work, Simon spends his time with his daughter Molly and partner Portia. His passions are dentistry and cooking and he has also just completed his first ironman.
