Jill Young BSc EDH

Jill qualified as a dental hygienist at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester in 1989, Jill has worked at the practice since 1991.

Jill looks after all our regular patients hygiene appointments. In addition she works closely with the treatment team to ensure that gums are healthy prior to implant treatment and that implants remain healthy after placement.

She will also recommend the most suitable oral hygiene devices for each patient and demonstrate the best cleaning techniques to use at home. We believe good home care is just as important to ensuring your teeth look good and stay healthy. 

A member of the British Dental Hygienist Association, Jill regularly attends meetings to ensure her skills are updated and at the leading edge of developments in dental hygiene. She is also the registered practice manager, responsible for ensuring the practice regulations and policies, and staff training are up to date, and meets all the requirements for the Care Quality Commission  inspections.
