David qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff in 1987. After working in the Dental School as a dental officer, he moved to Peterborough in 1988 and worked in private practice.
In 1996 he started his orthodontic training as a clinical assistant working alongside the orthodontic consultant at Peterborough District Hospital. He undertook the Trent region two year training programme in orthodontics for general practitioners.
David joined Old School House full-time in 2003. He completed his Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics finals in October 2010. He currently sits on the
British Orthodontic Society Practitioner Group committee and the British Orthodontic Society Scholarships & Grants committee.
In his free time, David enjoys foreign travel, tennis, snowboarding, cycling and dining-out. He is married to Deborah and has one son.
