Amanda qualified as a doctor from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Medical School in 2003, with an Integrated BSc in Physiology. As a junior doctor, she trained on rotations in General Medicine, General and Orthopaedic Surgery, A&E and Paediatrics, completing a Diploma in Child Health, before specialising in Anaesthetics from 2005. She has since trained in this specialty for over a decade and gained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2008.

Amanda elected to train in non-surgical cosmetic treatments, also known as Aesthetics (yes — it sounds similar to Anaesthetics, but it’s a different specialty), thereby marrying her technical and clinical skills as an Anaesthetist with her love of creative arts. She trained to the highest standards in the UK for non-surgical cosmetic treatments at Harley Academy, London. Amanda is committed to improving standards of practice and safety in the cosmetics industry. She is a certified member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) Group and is involved in training new practitioners in injectables.

Amanda is known for her calm, gentle manner. Her special interest is in anti-ageing injectable treatments to enhance and rejuvenate, still maintaining natural appearance. At Sunbury Dental, patients can be assured of a discreet service and a bespoke aesthetic treatment plan, tailored to their needs.
