Ioannis Ziounas

Yannis is the Smileworks Implantologist and has an impressive pedigree, having studied in Greece, Sweden, France, Brazil and Russia at some of the world's most distinguished schools.

He has worked here in the UK for 10 years now and spends his time between Smileworks and has own Implant practice in the heart of Athens. We are lucky to have Yannis here at Smileworks and he brings an enormous wealth of expertise to our team. During his time trotting the globe, Dr Yannis has had his work published in the Cochrane Review, which is a pretty big deal for us dental geeks here at Smileworks!
His patients love him and note his, "tenacity, patience and guidance" along with a "friendly, courteous, helpful and approachable" manner. So if you're looking for Dental Implants, dental surgery or complex restorations – like smile-makeovers – then you couldn't possibly be in safer hands than with Yannis.

Since joining Smileworks, it's his attention to detail and obsession with absolutely perfect results that we're most impressed with. In his spare time, Yannis is a family man and his wife recently gave birth to a baby boy who keeps him busy when he's not in surgery.

Ed likes meeting exciting people and is often away at masterminds, seminars and conferences on his unrelenting quest for better results. That said, he's quite sad and doesn't really have a life outside of work. In his free time you might find him dressed as a cowboy sitting in the Smileworks staffroom or curled up with a book, pretending he can read.
