Iben Rohde

Iben qualified from University of Aarhus, Denmark as a Dental Hygienist in Feburary 2002.

She has been working in both private and NHS practices in London since qualifying.

DENTAL INTERESTS: ‘As a hygienist my philosophy is that prevention is far better than cure. I am passionate about educating people to learn the best way to keep their gums and teeth healthy and free of disease. She believes in treating the person as opposed to just a set of teeth and she understands how important it is to build trust and confidence. That is why she approaches all her patients with a smile.

She treats all aspects of gum disease, sets up and carries out maintenance programmes and give advice and instruction to keep healthy teeth and gums. This is all done a professional, yet friendly and relaxed way.

NON-DENTAL INTERESTS: Besides her passion for dentistry, she is an avid cook, loves travelling and photography. She's also the proud owner of a few half marathon medals.

COURSES:
Regularly attends dental post graduate education courses to update practical and theoretical dental hygiene skills including CPR and cross infection courses.

Iben is a member of General Dental Council, Medical protection Society and British society of dental hygiene and therapy.
