Andrea Powell

Andrea has worked within the dental field for 14 years. In this time she has gained extensive knowledge and valuable experiences within hospital/community settings and private practice.

Dental Hygienists are uniquely qualified to assist in the prevention & treatment of oral diseases, focusing on periodontal health by monitoring oral hygiene practices & assisting the patient to develop a homecare plan to maintain oral health as well as performing whitening techniques.

As a Dental Therapist, Andrea is qualified to carry out routine dental procedures on children & simple restorative work on adults. As a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy, Andrea keeps up to date with new and improving techniques within both hygiene and therapy as part of her continuing professional development. When not working at our Practice, Andrea splits her time between other practices in Kent and London.

She is also very good at working with nervous patients and helping people overcome their anxieties through her patience and gentleness.
