Yana Ariyanayagam

I was a prize winning hygienist at the Eastman Dental Institute. I have been working in NHS and private dental practices in London since graduating in 2011. I provide patients with individually tailored initial periodontal therapy including subgingival debridement under local anaesthesia and specific oral hygiene instruction. I am committed to improving every aspect of our patient's oral and general health.

I have carried out charity work for Dentaid in both the UK and Nepal. I am about to embark on some practice based research looking at the utility of abbreviated plaque indices in a practice environment.

I enjoy running, mountain climbing and cycling in my free time
