Dr Shabnam Zai

I obtained my Bachelor in Dental Surgery Degree with Distinction from Newcastle Dental School in 2003, and have been working in general practice ever since.

I have been fortunate to have held an Honorary Clinical Assistant post at St George's Hospital London, in the Restorative Department, for three years. As well as being appointed as a trainer for the London Deanery. This is awarded to dental practitioners with the ability to teach and mentor newly qualified dentists.

I am very privileged to be working at LCIAD with such a wonderful team and forward thinking, ethical Clinical Director (Dr Koray Feran). I can ensure I will do my very best for all my patients, and do so in a professional and gentle manner.

I am an associate member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the Royal College of Surgeons.

Currently I am undertaking a Masters in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at Manchester University and have completed Simply Excellencetraining in dental implants. I am also trained in Invisalign and Inman Aligners.

I enjoy travelling and have attended extensive courses in all aspects of dentistry, internationally and in the UK, to enable me to deliver quality dental care to all my patients.
