Linda was born in Girvan, Ayrshire and moved to Shepherdswell at the age of 2.  She joined the Women’s Royal Naval Service in 1968 as a Dental Surgery Assistant and qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1969.

Her first employment was at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, then various private and N.H.S dental practices.

Linda is passionate about dentistry and has always attended the necessary courses to keep up to date with the changing procedures of prevention and cure. As a hygienist, “prevention” has always been the main aim, but with the progression of “cure”, that has accelerated, her job is even more rewarding. Being part of a professional team has always been paramount, as regards a happy and successful practice.

Linda joined the practice in 2005 and is a valuable member of the team always taking into account the patient’s hopes and expectations. She realises that no two patients are alike and treat them as such. Linda brings a wealth of experience to the practice.

Linda is a member of the Royal Naval Association, likes fishing, snorkelling and holidays. She also likes to try her hand at new crafts like stained glass painting. Most of all she adores her only granddaughter and loves spending time with her.
