Dr Johan Visser

Johan graduated as a dentist in 1984 at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He also holds a post graduate diploma in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

He had a private practice on the east coast of South Africa for 14 years before moving to England in 2000. Just a five years later, Johan bought the Preston House practice, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience with him.

Johan is qualified to offer the following services: preventative and aesthetic restorative dentistry, orthodontic treatment, teeth whitening, wrinkle reduction and implants.

Johan’s surgery boasts some of the very latest dental equipment (such as a Cerec Machine for instant crowns, digital X-rays, digital OPG machine and a CT scanner) and excellent dental materials. He has always been enthusiastic about new developments in his field and keeps up to date with new innovations.

Johan is particularly interested in implants and qualified as an implant specialist with the Tipton Training Course in London which lasted one year. As a follow-up to that training, he then took a specialised soft tissue course to enhance his implant training.  He also completed a sinus lift and bone-grafting course in Brazil in 2013.

Johan is an excellent, experienced dentist, but he is particularly skilled in invasive surgical procedures.
