Sinead qualified from University College Cork, Ireland in 2002 and then moved to the UK and worked in a general dental practice in Essex for seven years. During this time, her postgraduate studies included a Certificate in Endodontics and following this over the course of one year, she completed Dr. Christopher Orr’s ‘Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry ‘ course.

More recently in 2010 Sinead completed a full-time Masters Degree in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCL) London. This area of dentistry focuses on restoring and replacing missing teeth in a conservative manner. Since 2010 I have been a visiting lecturer for the ‘Hands On’ courses run at the Eastman Postgraduate Centre for Dentists preparing for their ORE examinations. This is an aspect of Dentistry that gives her great satisfaction. In 2013 she successfully gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of England’s Joint Dental Faculties. ‘Keeping up to date with new aspects of dentistry is very important to me and whilst I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry on a daily basis, implant dentistry is where my passion lies.

In her spare time Sinead enjoys running, cycling and swimming but her real love is the Irish sport Camogie. It is a fun high energy sport that keeps her in touch with her Irish roots.
