Dr Richard Sandilands

Dr Richard Sandilands BDS LOND is the founder of Sandilands Dental Studio. He graduated from The Royal Dental Hospital in 1984 and shortly after set up his first cosmetic and aesthetic dental suite.

Richard has over 20 years experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry and was one of the founding members of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He now provides advanced treatments, including Dental Implants and Smile makeovers, of which he has completed over 200 successful cases. He continues to update his training and his dental studios technology to maintain the highest treatment standards.

Dr Richard Sandilands most recently attended a specialist implantology course in Bilbao Spain hosted by BTI. This course provided further in depth implant, biolodgical drilling, regeneration and clinical solution training.

Richard takes a particular interest in saving teeth and preventative dentistry, so much so, 80% of our current patients have no need for any treatment except a regular check up. He really enjoys winning the trust of nervous patients - who often come back to the dentist smiling and relaxed.

Away from dentistry Richard is an active member of Dover Rotary club and is an active member of the Dover sailing club.
