Dr Dan Shaffer

On graduation from Birmingham University in 1999, Dan started his career working in a clinic for nervous children, gaining valuable experience in keeping very nervous patients calm during their treatments. During this time, he also set up Goldenage Dentalcare, a mobile dental service for elderly house bound people in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire.

Dr Shaffer has six years of clinical teaching experience at Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’ Dental School. He believes that teachers certainly learn the most from their students! Dr Shaffer now presents communication skills workshops to Dentists on behalf of Dental protection and is a Clinical Advisor to Polygrip UK.
