Dr Martin Janse van Rensburg

Martin Janse van Rensburg qualified in 1980 at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and was awarded a post graduate degree in Orthodontics and Dentistry for Children in 1985 at the same university.

He practiced in his own private practice near Cape Town for more than 20 years before relocating to the UK. Martin is extremely experienced in all aspects of dental practice with a special interest in implantology, orthodontics, surgical and cosmetic dentistry.

He complimented his knowledge of implantology by completing the very practical "one to one" certificate in implant dentistry over 18 months at the University of Sheffield. Martin has attended numerous courses in implantology as far afield as Sao Paolo, Brazil where he completed a rigorous practical course in advanced implant surgery including immediate loading, advanced tissue grafting and sinus augmentation with Prof Alex Salvoni.

Martin is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (UK) as well as the British Orthodontic Society and British Dental Association.

Martin is currently undertaking his Masters degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol.
