Dr Raj Kumar Naidu

Qualified Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai 1973

After graduation in 1973 and a stint as a junior hospital dentist, Raj Naidu completed his registration exams in London and Glasgow. Following a 2 ½ year associate position, he single-handedly took over a practice in Harold Wood in June 1979. Over the years it has evolved into a family practice with his wife, Pratibha, joining in 1983.

As a General Dental Practitioner, his ethos has been to provide the fundamentals of routine dentistry with a special interest in dentures, root canal treatments and CEREC restorations. Raj has been heavily involved in continuous professional development through study groups in London, peer reviews locally and various courses as well as participating in a key skills programme.

Over the years, outside of the practice walls, Raj's interests have taken him to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and treks in the Lake District and Himalayas. Throughout their lives, Raj and Pratibha have been keen wildlife enthusiasts with long standing fellowships in the Royal Geographical Society. Music and theatre as well as a penchant for good cuisine has kept his professional and personal balance on an even keel.
