Dr Dev Patel

Multi Award winning dentist, Dev Patel graduated from the University of Manchester in 2012. He then went on to complete his foundation year in Gravesend, Kent at Parrock Street Dental. During this year he completed a postgraduate diploma in Primary Care Dentistry, with distinction, from the University of Kent. He has also completed a one-year course in 'Advanced Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry' (by renowned dentist Chris Orr). Furthermore, he completed a certificate course in 'Comprehensive Orthodontics' with renowned orthodontic specialist Ian Hutchison. Since then, he has continued to complete numerous post-graduate courses in the UK and internationally, to further his knowledge and learn the latest dental techniques from some of the worlds best dentists. Dev is also currently undertaking two separate post-graduate courses in Dental Implantology from the 'International Team of Implantology' and the 'University of Sheffield'.

Dev frequently lectures nationally and has been featured in numerous dental magazines (see Press), to guide fellow dental professionals and share his knowledge and clinical techniques'. Dev has been awarded 'Best Young Dentist South' at the prestigious Dental Awards 2016, held at the Hilton NEC, Birmingham. Dev has also been awarded 'Highly Commended' for his outstanding 'Single Tooth Composite' case at the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards 2016. These awards are a testament to his dedication and hard work and are judged by the countries most respected dentists on a national level.

Dev firmly believes in minimally invasive, ethical dentistry and has a keen interest in cosmetic, restorative and general dentistry. He is very approachable and highly empathetic; he will explain all treatment modalities and educate all his patients before starting treatment. Dev aims to provide all his patients with the best possible treatment and care and will go above and beyond to fulfil their dental treatment requirements.

Outside of dentistry Dev loves to spend time with his friends/family and is a keen golfer. Dev regularly attends lectures and conferences in order to learn about the latest clinical techniques so that he can enhance his patient's treatment.
