Dr Rupal Patel

Rupal Patel qualified with honours from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital (University of London) in 2004. She took up a post as a Senior House Officer at Chase Farm Hospital in 2006, when she was also awarded the MFDS Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons. Then, in 2012, she achieved a Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) from Guy’s Hospital, passing with distinction.
Rupal developed an interest in periodontology during several years working in general practice. She has gained experience in all non-surgical and surgical aspects of periodontology and has been a registered Specialist in Periodontics with the General Dental Council since 2004, as well as holding a Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Rupal was a consultant at Guy’s Hospital in 2014, teaching undergraduates and postgraduates, and was also a foundation dentist trainer in general practice. She lectures nationally in periodontics and has run a number of study days for the London Deanery. She has been published in scientific journals, including the highly respected Journal of Periodontology.
Rupal ensures her patients feel calm and comfortable by providing high quality care in a relaxed, considerate way. By listening to her patients’ wishes and concerns, she is able to produce treatment plans that are entirely appropriate for their needs.
When not busy providing expert treatment for gum problems, Rupal enjoys cycling and skiing.
