Dr Carl Mahnem

Dr Manhem qualified from Dental College, University of Gothenurg Sweden, in 1983. His main interest within Dentistry was Oral Surgery, this lead to him becoming a specialist in this field. He completed his specialization in Oral Surgery in 1994 at University of Linkoping, Sweden.

After working as an Assistant Professor at two University Hospitals in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Stockholm Sweden and Aarhus Denmark he moved to England and London in 1998. During this period he worked at several implant clinics and a Private Hospital as a consultant for the treatment of implant patients working on many complex cases.

Since 1998 he has been a Clinical Tutor at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London instructing other Dentists on how to carry out implant treatments. Major Cases and patients who require treatment with General Anaesthesia are treated at the Harley Street Clinic Hospital, London.

His main clinical interests are Implantology, Reconstructive Surgery and Orthognathic Surgery.

Some aspects of dental implants require complex bone surgery and grafting. Dr Mahnem’s background in maxillofacial surgery qualfies him to carry out these types of procedures with great skill.
