Nearly five years on the acquisition of the neighbouring Northgate House has enabled us to offer even better services to our patients. At Pont Steffan our team are not only aware of, but play a vital role in creating our practice’s ethos and vision. Our main objective is to provide a welcoming, friendly and empathetic care to all patients but especially those with dental anxieties.

We pride ourselves on a high standard of patient care not only clinically but also interpersonally, this has proven essential when providing and caring for nervous patients. We aim to help people overcome their fears of visiting the dentist and our testimonials give various examples of our methods helping people with their anxieties.

Dental bridges are designed to ‘bridge’ the gap between teeth, when one or more are missing. A bridge is made up of crowns that sit either side of the gap and a false tooth is added into the gap.   View treatment details

Dental Crowns are used to strengthen your existing damaged tooth to protect its functionality. Crowns restore cracked, broken and damaged teeth. They can also be called caps as they often sit over your damaged tooth and protect the outer surface.   View treatment details

Dental implants are recommended if you have one, or multiple, missing teeth, designed to act as a replacement or artificial substitution for the root portion of your natural tooth.    View treatment details

Fixed braces are the most common type of orthodontic appliance. They can be used when a number of teeth need to be corrected, or when the treatment needs to be precise to prevent problems in the future.   View treatment details

Root canal treatment is the term given to the procedure that aims to save the natural tooth following tooth decay and infection of the pulpal tissue. It is sometimes referred to as endodontics.   View treatment details

Tooth whitening involves lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. There are several options available depending on how much you wish to spend and whether you would like to visit a dentist or do at home.   View treatment details

The Wand (CompuDent or STA system) administers local anaesthetic in a slow & steady way, meaning it is more comfortable than a traditional injection & is so subtle that many patients do not even realise when the anaesthetic has actually been administered.   View treatment details
