Dr Megan Fergusson

Megan graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand with a Merit in 2001 and was in the top 10 graduates. After completing the graduate development program in New Zealand with a year working in the hospital dental service and a year in general practice she relocated to England.

On her arrival in 2004, Megan worked at Peterborough district hospital as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery during which time she completed the royal college of surgeon exams and was awarded membership of the faculty of dental surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2007.

She returned to general practice in Cambridge but also worked part time for the community dental service working with children and adults with special needs. She continued her interest in oral surgery and had a surgical list at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

In 2006 Megan joined Lau Berraondo as senior associate at Chequer Hall Dental Practice in Ely where she worked until August 2013 when she was appointed associate at Enhance.

Megan attends postgraduate courses internationally and was awarded a postgraduate certificate in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

She is a member of the British Dental Association and has been secretary of the Cambridge section since 2011.

Megan lives in Cambridge with her husband and 2 children.
