Anouska Cassano is a highly experienced micro-pigmentation practitioner who specialises in the areas of scalp micro-pigmentation, aesthetic permanent makeup, medical and reconstructive (areola restoration, vitiligo, cleft lip reconstruction, asymmetry, burns), scar camouflage and reduction (MCA dry needling, Meso ReVital), chemical tattoo removal and correction.
She is a member of BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) and SPCP (Society of Cosmetic Professionals) and since qualifying top of her course has continued to develop her skills and is now recognised as an expert within the broader field of micro-pigmentation. She has since been invited by CIBTAC (Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) to be the technical expert for all micro-pigmentation where she advises on all technical aspects of micro-pigmentation for insurance purposes and new course approvals.
Anouska works with a number of the UK’s leading surgeons in the fields of medical and reconstructive surgery at Guys and St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital. Additionally she was invited by the Royal College of Surgeons to share her techniques and work in the area of areola restoration and nipple re-pigmentation with a number of their breast and reconstructive surgeons.
It is in the area of scalp-micro pigmentation that Anouska is specifically regarded as being an expert in her field, having worked with some of the leading hair transplantation clinics and surgeons in the UK, Europe and USA.
Anouska has since developed new standards for scalp micro-pigmentation where there was very little in the way of ‘standards’ or best practice for scalp training. This has been done in conjunction with the pertinent industry bodies to develop scalp micro-pigmentation treatment into an industry recognised and endorsed course to improve best practice and raise the quality of work in this area. Her HPT® scalp micro-pigmentation training course is the only course of its kind to have been independently endorsed by VTCT, BABTAC and CIBTAC. Additionally, the course has gained global training accreditation through the Skin Health Alliance.
