Micro-current facial treatment is an effective non-surgical procedure to replenish and rejuvenate the skin reducing the signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines and facial scars. It works by stimulating collagen production and elastic, vital to refresh and rejuvenate skin.

It works by triggering chemical reactions in the body through low level electricity, which enhances the natural production of collagen and elastin. In conjunction with this, circulation is improved and muscles of the face are restored.

It is a perfect non-surgical solution to diminish the signs of ageing such as fine lines, and wrinkles, improving muscle tone in the face and neck and triggering lymphatic drainage. It has also been known to help clear and reduce acne and treat sun damage and skin pigmentation. The treatment will ultimately have you feeling more hydrated with revitalised skin.

Micro-current non-surgical facial treatment provides immediate results. Skin is firmer, smoother and re-hydrated, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

After your first treatment, it is recommended to visit again every 4-8 weeks to restore and maintain the treatment results. If this is maintained monthly, results usually last for 3-4 years. Treatment sessions will differ depending on individual needs, where some may require more and others less. This will all be discussed during consultation.

It is recommended that those who have undertaken Botulinum Toxin (Botox) or filler treatments considering Micro-current should wait two weeks to start treatment. This can be further discussed with your consultant. It is known that those who have Micro-current facials tend to not require the need for frequent Botox.

Being non-surgical, Micro-current requires no downtime and lifestyle or usual activities will not be disrupted in any way.

Micro-current non-surgical facial treatment is not suitable for those who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, suffer from epilepsy, thrombosis, cancer, and phlebitis (inflammation linked to the veins).

The cost of a Micro-current non-surgical facial treatment depends on the individual, treatment areas and number of sessions required. This can all be discussed further on your consultation.
