Cell Therapy
  • I have skin damage or scars
  • I have wrinkles

Cell therapy is used to repair damaged skin, improve the appearance of scars and rejuvenate the skin on the face or body. The treatment involves transplanting cells either from another part of your own body or from a donor.

Cell therapy is used to repair damaged skin, improve the appearance of scars and rejuvenate the skin on the face or body. The treatment involves transplanting cells either from another part of your own body or from a donor.

During the procedure cells are transplanted in order to encourage collagen production to help restore the skin’s structure. The aim is for the skin to be plumper, smoother and more even in tone. Fibroblast, which are cells in the skin responsible for forming collagen, will be harvested in a laboratory, after which they will be injected or sprayed into the area being treated, resulting in a boost in your own collagen production. The method is used to promote fresher, more youthful looking skin but it can also be used to encourage the skin to heal and treat scarring, burns or wounds.

After the cell therapy procedure your skin may be slightly red and sore, however, there should be no swelling or bruising. Over the following weeks and months the treated area will heal. New cells will grow over several months, helping to improve the texture and tone of the skin. You should be able to resume normal activities the day after the treatment.

Cell therapy may help you achieve the desired results but in some cases, dermal fillers can provide a more effective solution. You should discuss your own individual circumstances with a practitioner who will advise you on the most appropriate option to achieve the best results.

The cost of cell therapy varies but you can expect the price per session to start from £750.
