Dr Zaki Kanaan is an implant and cosmetic dentist. His main interests lie in all aspects of aesthetic dentistry with a special focus on dental implants, in which he achieved a Masters Degree from the world renowned Kings College Dental Institute in 2001.
Dr Kanaan provides a range of services from his K2 Dental Practice in Fulham, London including implant supported over-dentures, single tooth implants, multiple implant supported bridges, full mouth reconstructions, Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, Inman Aligner and tooth whitening.
Dr Kanaan has appeared on Channel 4's Embarrassing Bodies programme carrying out complex implant treatments. For the past 3 years he has been an advisor to Philips Oral Health Care and lectures both nationally and internationally for them on all aspects of teeth whitening. He was judged UK Dentist of the Year 2012 in the National Dental Awards and also topped Private Dentistry Magazine's poll of the top 20 Elite Dentists in the UK a year later in 2013, after coming 2nd in 2011 and 2012. He is currently the President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the largest cosmetic dental organisation in the UK and Past President of The London Dental Fellowship. He sits on the editorial board for The International Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry and was an editorial consultant for Dental Implant Summaries, both widely distributed international dental journals.
With a strong drive for Continuing Professional Development, Dr Kanaan frequents international conferences to keep up to date with the latest dental advances and techniques and also lectures on all aspects of cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and is a highly regarded implant surgeon who routinely mentors colleagues during their implant training.
