After qualifying from Trinity College Dublin in 2002 Daniel spent a year as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital, concentrating on both restorative dentistry and oral surgery. Following this, he worked in private practice for over two and a half years and completed the MFDS exams before beginning a three-year post-graduate programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute.
He was subsequently awarded the Membership in Restorative Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the highest formal qualification available for the endodontic mono-specialty, and entered onto the General Dental Council’s Specialist List for Endodontics.
He lectures in the UK and internationally and gives hands-on courses for dentists. Daniel has also taught Endodontics at the CPD Unit of the Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Healthcare Sciences.
Daniel is founder and CEO of Endodontic seminars London (www.endodonticseminars.co.uk). This is a teaching resource for dentists, who can come and improve their knowledge and hands skills under close supervision of Daniel.
He is also the founder of EndoTv (www.endotv.co.uk) which is an on-line resource where dentists can learn from study cases that are referred to specialists and improve their diagnostic skills.
Daniel limits his practice exclusively to endodontics and is based in Knightsbridge and Harley Street.
