Dr Askari Townshend qualified as a doctor in 2002 and gained MRCS in 2006. Already with several years of injectable experience, Dr Askari opened his own clinic in 2008. Having been approached by sk:n in 2010, he held the position of Director of Medical Services there until 2013. With over 10 years injectable experience, his interests also include lasers and peels.
Dr Askari is lead UK Sculptra trainer for Sinclair Pharma and the UK medical consultant providing support for Sculptra practitioners. He has also delivered dermal filler training for Allergan and written for major UK aesthetic publications. He is currently teaching on an MSc Course in Facial Aesthetics and is a finalist for the Aesthetic Awards Medical Practitioner of the Year 2014.
