With Mother’s Day just around the corner, Saira Khan shares with us her wish for Mothers day.
“As a mum you do everything to give your kids the most confidence you can. Life for kids nowadays can be tough and giving them a feeling of self-worth and self-belief is one of the best things you can engender in them. You may not believe this but I lacked confidence in some areas – for example I was less than confident about my smile, which I why I am having Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth. I am so glad I did something to address a source of concern and my Mother’s Day wish is that I can imbue my children with core values and inner strength that comes from feeling good about themselves. It is so important to build a cache of happy memories for children too – and having photos of them with me happily smiling, I hope will give them a reservoir to draw on in tougher times.”
