Runa Mowla-Copley is an experienced clinician who graduated from Sheffield University in 1995. Before pursuing a career in orthodontics, Runa spent time working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery , Paediatric Dentistry as well as several years in general dental practice. She obtained her Diploma in Orthodontics from Warwick University.
Runa has worked at a number of prestigious orthodontic practices in Central and South London including the award winning Elleven Orthodontics in Devonshire Place. In 2008 Runa helped set up Metamorphosis Orthodontics with Dr Neil Counihan. Runa is also co-founder of one of London's first Thumb Sucking Clinics.
Runa is a member of the British Orthodontic Society. She is on the editorial board of the Orthodontic Practice journal. She is passionate about orthodontics and regularly attends courses and conferences to enhance her skills and learn about the latest cutting edge techniques. Runa is also the author of Charlie's Thumb, an illustrated children's fiction about the perils of thumb sucking.
